Advantech's Rugged Handheld Terminal series is a trusted platform for harsh environments. Designed as a compact handheld mobile terminal, the MARS handheld product family is equipped with an Intel XScale PXA255 400 MHz processor. Combined with the WinCE 4.2 operating system, it provides the highest in performance. The optional 1-D / 2-D barcode scanner lets users collect information efficiently and communicates with back-end host data servers seamlessly through WLAN 802.11b and Bluetooth protocols. Wireless connectivity with peripheral devices such as a portable printer is also supported.
