Advantech feels deeply that good corporate governance is the root of sustainable corporation development. Advantech has selected authorities in the industry and from academic fields to constitute its Board; this is the strategic management mechanism of the corporation, which focuses on long-term company development, the shaping of company culture, and cultivation of senior-level managerial talent. In addition, the creation of the Audit and Compensation Committees expanded the Board's scope through specialization and distribution of meeting times.
Advantech also uses its internal auditing system to check and appraise the efficiency of internal control systems and implementation, and assists the board and management to reach business profit, performance insurance, and asset preservation goals, and reasonably guarantee the reliability of financial reports and conformance of relative decrees.
At the same time, Advantech set up the Risk Management Committee in 2009, in order to prepare for all possible operation interruption risks and minimize the impacts they might bring.
