Intel Coffee Lake Refresh-S and Cascade Lake CPUs: Now Certified in Advantech Intelligent Systems

Advantech recently phased-in Coffee Lake Refresh-S and Cascade Lake - SP II processors—ranging from the 9th generation Intel® Core i3 up to the Core i7, Xeon E, Xeon Gold, and Xeon Silver processor families.
These products deliver essential performance, flexibility, and advanced security technology for entry server solutions, professional workstations, and secure cloud services to meet a variety of different applications. Additionally, Intel® Xeon® E processors are available with integrated Intel® UHD Graphics and certifications for top workstation applications.
The Intel IoT Platform is an end-to-end reference model and family of products from Intel. Advantech recently also announced that a wide range of its platforms, including industrial ATX motherboards, slot single-board computers (SBCs), and industrial server boards, have been upgraded with 9th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 and Xeon® E processors. With the number of cores increased from 6 to 8, these 9th generation Intel® Core™ and Xeon® E processors offer a 22% improvement in multi-threaded computing performance and 7% faster Windows execution. These new processors are ideal for powering intelligent systems aimed at diverse applications, such as deep learning AI, video surveillance, and industrial automation.
