Advantech Took a Further Step on Intelligent Transportation Automatic Fare Collection in China
Advantech’s ITA-1710 has played a fundamental role among ITA series in metropolitan automated fare collection systems (AFC) in China, Europe, and other regions. This quarter, we are honored to witness ITA-1710 met the substantial needs of urban metro and train stations and has been a great success worldwide in Beijing China which covers diverse applications from ticket vending machine (TVM) to automatic gate machine (AGM). Due to the efforts made by sales force team, Advantech cultivated deep relationship with system integrators, 北控and 广电运通, and won the project of railway line one, two and eight renovation construction. During peak hours, these operators must have a stable, easily maintained system for their AFC applications in order to manage and maintain a steady flow in the volume of commuters. That’s why many of our partners have chosen ITA-1710 for approximately 2000 units as their go to system for AFC applications.
ITA-1710 is an integrated, fanless box with an easily accessible storage device module. Its success in AFC applications can be attributed to its design which supports a wide range of DC inputs and operating temperatures (-25° ~ 60°C). ITA-1710 is also equipped with Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (F-RAM). This is a value-added, non-volatile type of memory that protects against losses caused by power disturbances. Also, ITA-1710 is suitable for ticket vending machine applications, with stable performance and rich I/O feature set. This product offering is specifically designed for AFC application and has received a lot of positive feedback worldwide.
