Advantech Launches New Entry-level Compact DAQ Embedded Computer
9/1/2017

When users need a compact platform that can acquire analog signals and also provides advanced functions including analog trigger, and a waveform generator, the Advantech’s new MIC-1800 series (MIC-1810 / MIC-1816) with multi-function, 16-ch, 12/16-bit resolution, and up to 1MS/s sample rate is an excellent choice.
MIC-1810 and MIC-1816 provide sample rates as high as 500K / 1M respectively that allow users to acquire enough data to display the measured waveform completely.
For analog input, the user can set an analog trigger to start collecting data only when a certain threshold is crossed, so unnecessary signals can be filtered out. The MIC-1800 series products also have built-in waveform generators, so there is no need for the user to purchase any extra device.
Also, the compact-sized MIC-1800 series all have a detachable terminal block that enables direct connection with sensor signal lines; this saves a lot of space and eliminates some wiring as well. DIN-rail mounting makes the MIC-1800 series compatible with distribution boxes and control cabinets for many different kinds of machines.
