January 6, 2022 –Advantech has maintained its "B List" rating in 2021's Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP 2021). We also obtained outstanding ratings of "A" in the "Scope 3 Emissions" and "Emissions Reduction Initiatives" topical groups.
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is the most indicative non-profit appraisal organization in the global environmental field. Every year, companies are required to disclose the carbon management information of their internal operations, and they are encouraged to disclose, evaluate, and manage their environmental risks and opportunities. Advantech has been a participant in the Carbon Disclosure Project starting from 2011. The Company has demonstrated significant progress in all aspects in 2021, especially in terms of better than average scores in "Scope 3 Emissions," "Risk Disclosure," "Opportunity Disclosure," and "Emissions Reduction Initiatives." 021's Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP 2021). In the future, Advantech will continue to promote the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) to quantify risks and opportunities, to invest in and gradually use renewable energy, and to develop and launch low-carbon products. We shall also cooperate with suppliers and with customers in respect to carbon management and other areas of action, and we shall continue to work toward the goal of entering the CDP's "A List" for carbon disclosure in 2025.
