Challenges
In the past, industrial PCs adopt NVIDIA GPU to achieve high computing of AI inference in AOI applications. However, PCs installed with GPU cards suffer a lot from heat dissipation, power consumption or even limited space. It is difficult to install the system into an equipment like a robot arm.
Solution
MIC-733-AO based on AGX Orin overcomes the issues and make AI AOI easy to be added into existing equipment with concern. Its high computing and rich I/O could handle video acquisition, AI inference and control command.
