Advantech and Qualcomm Strengthen Collaboration to Accelerate Innovations with AI On Premises

TAIPEI, Taiwan – May 21, 2025— Advantech, a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, is expanding its collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to drive innovation and adoption in the edge AI industry. This collaboration aims to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient AI solutions for generative AI workloads running on-premise, addressing scalable AI needs in medical, industrial, smart city applications, and beyond.

At the core of this collaboration is the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ AI On-Prem Appliance powered by the Qualcomm® Cloud AI 100 Ultra accelerator card and the Qualcomm® AI Inference Suite, which delivers up to 870 TOPS of AI computing performance and features 128GB of memory. It supports a wide range of gen AI capabilities, including image generation, agentic AI, natural language processing, computer-vision, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and at lower-power than comparable GPUs, making it ideal for edge AI deployments.
