Advantech Launches UTK-752 Modular Touchscreen Kiosk for Self-Order and Self-Service Applications

October 07, 2020, Taipei, Taiwan - Advantech, a leading provider of service automation solutions, is pleased to announce the launch of UTK-752—a 21.5-inch interactive touchscreen kiosk aimed at automated self-service industries. Featuring a fanless 6th gen Intel® Core™ i5-6300U processor and up to 16 GB of DDR3L memory, UTK-752 is an off-the-shelf modular solution that delivers exceptional computing performance for diverse self-service applications. To enable easy integration with existing systems and business apps, the UTK-752 kiosk supports multiple operating systems, including Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, Linux Ubuntu 18.04, and Android 8.0. Additionally, the provision of multiple I/O allows the system to be integrated with additional peripherals, such as an RFID reader, 5M camera, smart card reader, magnetic stripe reader, 1D/2D barcode scanner and LED light bar, to extend the system functions for a wide range of self-service operations. Furthermore, the UTK-752’s modular structure accommodates both countertop and freestanding presentations, making it an adaptable solution for self-order, self-checkout, self-registration, check-in, queue management, ticketing, pick and collect service, and virtual reception applications.
Rotating Structure for Easy Maintenance and Cable Management
The UTK-752 kiosk is built with a rotating side-open structure to simplify maintenance and system updates. Because the kiosk does not feature an embedded box PC, the system unit is streamlined and can be easy equipped with a pedestal floor stand or compact tabletop mount for flexible installation. Moreover, the attached cable organizer secures the wires and keeps them out of sight for a neat and tidy appearance.
