Advantech Drives Industrial AI Opportunities with Integrated WISE Solution & Station (IWS) Platform Strategy

Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, hosted an investor conference today (August 5th), which was presided over by Chairman KC Liu alongside three co-presidents – Mr. Eric Chen, Mr. Miller Chang, and Ms. Linda Tsai. Despite fluctuations in key raw material costs and ongoing supply chain challenges, Advantech’s revenue and profit reached record highs in the first half of 2026 primarily driven by the accelerating AI deployments from customers, which continued to drive strong demand for related applications and enterprise purchases. For the first half of 2026, the consolidated revenue reached NT$46.512 billion, representing a 32% YoY increase. Gross profit totaled NT$17.825 billion (Gross Margin of 38.3%), operating profit amounted to NT$8.856 billion (Operating Margin of 19.0%), and the consolidated net income after tax reached NT$7.852 billion (YoY+66%). The EPS of 1H26 was NT$9.05.
Eric Chen, President of General Management and CFO, stated, “The overall demand remains solid as the Book-to-Bill (B/B Ratio) reached 1.44 in 2Q26. More specifically, three major regions in 2Q26 indicated strong B/B performance, with North America at 1.92, Europe at 1.25, and China at 1.21. Meanwhile, order momentum in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan remained above 1.0, reflecting steady end-market demand and supporting an optimistic overall business outlook. Looking forward to 3Q26, both order momentum and design wins are expected to remain at high levels. Advantech expects 3Q26 revenue to deliver continued growth both YoY and QoQ, while gross margin and operating margin are expected to remain broadly in line with the previous quarter.
