  • Boot time too long

    Symptom:
    The boot time of PCM-4823 is about 25 seconds. But PCM-4823L (without VGA) is
    about 55 seconds.

    Reason:
    The default BIOS contains VGA BIOS, so it will take longer time to boot.

    Solution:
    1. Please update your BIOS to 4823-SYS.BIN. This BIOS is in the utility
    diskette and without VGA BIOS part.
    2. For other products without VGA chip but your BIOS contains VGA BIOS, please
    release the VGA BIOS part.
    Example:
    C:>CBROM XXXX.BIN /vga Release
    C:>AWDFLASH XXXX.BIN
