Taipei, Taiwan, December 2023 — Advantech, a global leader in Embedded IoT, is pleased to introduce the AIMB-508, an I/O-intensive MicroATX motherboard designed to accommodate 12th and 13th Gen Intel® Core™ desktop processors. The AIMB-508 features an abundance of expansion slots and I/O ports, including 2 x LANs with speeds up to 2.5GbE, facilitating seamless upgrades for high-speed end devices. With 6 x COM and up to 14 x USB ports, it offers rich functionality for quick adaptation to various devices and systems. Equipped with onboard PCIe x16 and PCI, the AIMB-508 ensures flexible and efficient transmission, meeting the requirements of automation control and entry-level medical imaging, encompassing industrial sensors and machine vision systems. Additionally, the motherboard comes bundled with DeviceOn, providing smart remote management and updates to enhance operational efficiency at the edge.
