Advantech Unveils “Edge AI-Powered Robotics in Action” at COMPUTEX Forum

Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, makes a powerful appearance at COMPUTEX 2025 with the theme “Edge Computing & WISE-Edge in Action,” presenting its cutting-edge Edge AI solutions across two exhibition halls at Nangang Exhibition Center. Throughout the show, Advantech is hosting 24 thematic forums and has launched a dedicated YouTube channel to broadcast live sessions globally. Chairman KC Liu also joined a livestreamed Insight Studio session to discuss the advancing Autonomous Mobile Robot(AMR) solutions with edge computing, offering in-depth insights into the drivers of AMR development and the evolving ecosystem.

On May 21, Advantech Embedded Sector President Miller Chang was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the COMPUTEX Forum, titled “Edge AI-Powered Robotics in Action.” Drawing an audience of nearly 1,000 industry professionals from around the world, Miller Chang outlined the evolution from Edge 1.0 to Edge 3.0, showcasing how edge computing and AI are enhancing robotic intelligence, performance, and scalability. “The convergence of edge AI and robotics is enabling more agile and efficient operations across automated manufacturing, logistics, and smart cities,” said Miller. “As technologies mature, robots must be capable of faster execution, intelligent sensing, and real-time decision-making to drive efficiency, autonomy, and new business opportunities. Linda Tsai, President of Advantech Intelligent System Sector, participated in the “Edge Computing & WISE-Edge in Action” conference alongside NVIDIA and Deloitte on the eve of COMPUTEX. The forum focused on the transformative power of physical AI in smart manufacturing. During the event, NVIDIA announced Advantech as a key partner to showcase live demonstration of the Jetson Thor platform at COMPUTEX. At Advantech’s Hall 1 branding pavilion, the company is demonstrating large language model (LLM) deployment on edge devices using VSS (Video Search and Summarization), highlighting the Jetson Thor’s AI computing capability of up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS.

In an exclusive interview with Bloomberg on the opening day of COMPUTEX, Linda Tsai emphasized that AI and edge computing are becoming the core drivers of digital transformation in manufacturing. “Companies are accelerating the adoption of intelligent, automated, and real-time analytics technologies,” said Linda. “Advantech will continue deepening its collaboration with partners such as NVIDIA to deliver high-performance, low-latency AI solutions that empower industrial intelligence.”
