  • What is "DownLoad NVRAM" and "UpLoad NVRAM" on "Controller Maintenance" item?

    The NVRAM of RAID500 controller is applied for storing configuration data.
    User can setup quickly a lot of RAID500 systems with this NVRAM data if they have
    same system configuration.
    For example, now you want to setup three sets of RAID500UW with 8 hard disks as
    RAID5. After finishing one unit, you can download the NVRAM via "Download
    NVRAM" item, and then update the other units with this NVRAM file. These units
    will have same RAID configuration. It will cut down time on configuring RAID
    system unit by unit.
