  • How to register OPC Server?

    If ADAM OPC Server is not registered in Windows environment, you have to register it by manual. The steps to register ADAM OPC Server are listed as below:

    1. Invoke DOS prompt window by executing DOS execution.

    2. Change current directory to be "\Porgram Files\Advantech\AdamOPC".

    3. Type in "ADAMOPC/regserver" command in DOS prompt mode and execute it.

    ADAM OPC Server would be registered into Windows system. If you want to ungister, ADAM OPC Server, type in "ADAMOPC/unregserver" command in DOS prompt window. (Please make sure current directory is "\Porgram Files\Advantech\AdamOPC").

    Note: As explained in the installation section of the manual, Windows NT4.0 or Windows 95 with the DCOM is required to run the ADAM OPC server.
