Traditionally customers have had the choice of standard COTS – Commercial-Off-The-Shelf and full custom solutions. RECAB now offers COTS – Custom-Off-The-Shelf. RECAB offers reusing existing platforms and building blocks from global manufacturers, and enhancing them to perfect fit for the customers application. By this, customers can now reduce risk, time-to-market and save on development and consultancy costs.
RECAB have in their product portfolio most of the known brands in the industry along with niche brands offering the highest levels of competence there is in this area. Service Overview
RECAB have tradition and base in VME and Compact PCI systems since many years. In the last couple of years we have seen more and more requests for smaller systems, special made for a single purpose and to be sold in high volumes. This has growed and today RECAB have a complete chain of products for the demanding industry. System on a module made us starting our own design capability and today we offer special designed carriers that can hold our SOM modules running Windows CE, Embedded Linux, VxWorks or other real time OS.
