Advantech’s Wireless ePaper Solution Enhances Hospital Efficiency and Sustainability
Hospital Digital Signage: Reducing Staff Workload with Eye-Friendly Technology
Challenge
Hospitals require clear, real-time information displays for patient care and operations. However, traditional paper-based systems and backlit digital screens contribute to staff inefficiency, environmental waste, and patient discomfort.
Solution
Advantech’s EPD-138/EPD-662 13-inch Wi-Fi ePaper Displays leverage E Ink Spectra 6 technology to deliver vibrant, high-contrast visuals without blue light or backlight emissions. Ideal for bedside cards, SOPs, and dashboards, this solution combines sustainability with effortless content management.
Key Features
- Eye-Friendly Design: Zero blue light or backlight, ensuring patient comfort and minimizing sleep disruptions.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Enables real-time updates for critical information (e.g., patient status, schedules) via centralized software.
- Ultra-Low Power Consumption: Consumes power only during content updates, aligning with eco-friendly initiatives.
- Durability: Operates reliably in temperatures from 0°C to 50°C.
How It Works
- DeviceOn/ePaper Platform: Remotely manage displays, update content, and monitor multiple devices from a single interface.
- Dispatcher Tool: Automate updates via a Windows app or BLE configuration. Simply upload images once, and the system takes care of the rest.
