Advantech Reports 2Q25 EPS of NT$2.30

Advantech (TWSE: 2395) today announced the following consolidated financial results for the second quarter of 2025 ending June 30:
- Revenue : NT$17.836 billion, up 3% QoQ and up 22% YoY
- Gross profit : NT$7.133 billion, up 1% QoQ and up 20% YoY
- Operating profit : NT$3.123 billion, up 7% QoQ and up 44% YoY
- Net income : NT$1.989 billion, decline 27% QoQ and decline 6% YoY
- Earnings per share : NT$2.30
Regarding the accumulated operating results of 1H25 in US dollars, Advantech achieved an overall revenue of US$1,104 million, increased 23% YoY. In terms of geographic overview, North America, Europe, Taiwan, and Emerging markets outperformed with over 20% YoY growth, respectively; China also resulted a 11% YoY growth while North Asia was flattish in YoY. By business units, each business unit shown double-digit growth in performance compared to the same period last year. Intelligent Service Sector (iService), Intelligent Systems Sector (iSystems), and IoT Automation Sector (IAutomation) outperformed with 50%, 30%, and 19% YoY growth, respectively. Embedded Sector overall achieved 12% YoY growth, with Embedded IoT Group (EIoT) and Applied Computing Group (ACG) growing by 13% and 10% YoY, respectively.
Mr. Eric Chen, CFO and President of General Management at Advantech stated, “Although the first half of the year was challenged by systemic risks such as reciprocal tariffs, geopolitical uncertainties, and currency fluctuations, Advantech achieved double-digit growth in both revenue and profit. This indicates the sustained recovery momentum driven by solid market demand and steady enterprise spending. In the second quarter of 2025, Advantech's Orders-to-Shipments ratio (B/B ratio) remained stable at 1.08 compared to the previous quarter. Among the three major regions, North America demonstrated the strongest momentum with a B/B ratio of 1.19; Europe experienced a slight decline to 1.03; While China recorded a modest rebound to 1.08. Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Advantech will continue to strengthen its presence in AI-enabled edge computing by enhancing software integration capabilities as well as increasing the flexibility and value of its total solutions. Advantech aims to play a key role in global Edge AI ecosystem and further drive the intelligent transformation of industries.”
