The "Logical drive partition" can be used to create virtual Hard disk, while OS can partition it further. After creating logical drives, it can be divided into 8 partitions in maximum, and map them to different LUNs under various SCSI
ID. On host side, there will be 8 physical hard disks available. These physical hard disks can be partitioned by operating system to suit different application environment. So, in brief, the logical drive partition is equal to a physical drive, and the OS partition is done on physical drive (LD partition).That is logical dirve!
