Advantech Integrates World Partner Conference with COMPUTEX to Strengthen Global Edge AI Ecosystem Connectivity

14/5/2569

Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in IoT intelligent systems and embedded platforms, today announced that during COMPUTEX Taipei 2026, the company will deeply integrate its annual World Partner Conference (WPC) with its exhibition activities. Under the brand theme “Edge Computing & AI-Powered WISE Solutions,” Advantech will connect three core events — the Advantech Edge AI Conference, COMPUTEX exhibition, and the World partner conference— to create an integrated platform spanning strategy, technology, and business, strengthening the global Edge AI ecosystem and accelerating industrial digital transformation and AI adoption.

K.C. Liu, Chairman of Advantech, stated: “As industries rapidly move toward a wave of AI and edge computing development, the key to corporate competitiveness is no longer just technical capability, but the ability to establish a collaborative ecosystem across industries and regions. This year, Advantech is integrating WPC with COMPUTEX for the first time, with ‘Edge Computing & AI-Powered WISE Solutions,’ serving as the brand theme for the five-day series of activities starting June 1. Through this multi-domain and interconnected event format, we aim to transform the event from a traditional exhibition platform into a strategic hub for global Edge AI ecosystem dialogue, partner collaboration, and business opportunity creation. Looking ahead, Advantech will continue collaborating with global partners to accelerate AI from cloud to edge, and from digital innovation to real-world deployment, while advancing toward our vision of becoming a global leader in Edge AI.”

Miller Chang, President of Advantech Embedded Sector, said: “Edge computing has always been the core of Advantech’s strategic development. Moving forward, Advantech will continue working closely with leading silicon partners such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Intel to launch next-generation Edge AI platforms that address growing demands for real-time computing and deployment flexibility. As industries enter the era of Physical AI, AI is evolving from model computation toward perception, decision-making, and autonomous execution in the real world. Advantech will focus on automation, healthcare, and robotics applications this year—particularly in AMR, collaborative robots, and humanoid robots. Through Robotic Building Blocks, we integrate robot brains, sensing modules, and software suites to achieve seamless connection from perception to execution. Additionally, Advantech officially releases the WISE-Edge Developer Architecture (WEDA), an Agentic AI development framework that fully integrates Agentic AI tools into Advantech’s Edge AI platforms, accelerating the implementation of Physical AI and intelligent industry applications.”

ChingPo Lin, Vice President of Advantech IoT Automation Sector, further stated: “As AI applications move from cloud to edge, industrial architecture is shifting from a traditional device-centric model toward an Intelligent Future Stack driven by data and AI. Through software, AI, data collaboration, and open ecosystems, Advantech is building an evolving industrial intelligence architecture that integrates edge-to-cloud operations and continuously optimizes through Digital Twin technologies. The newly launched WEDA architecture significantly lowers the barriers to Edge AI development and deployment through unified APIs, MCPs, and AI Skills, enabling enterprises to rapidly develop AI and agent-based applications across iFactory, iEMS, iHealthcare, and iCity domains. Advantech will continue to partner with semiconductor, cloud, ISV, and SI ecosystem partners through the WISE platform to establish an open and scalable industrial AI ecosystem, driving industrial operations from automation to a true era of autonomous intelligence.”

Advantech’s COMPUTEX 2026 series event will unfold across three main pillars. First, Advantech Edge AI Conference on June 1 at the Hua Nan International Convention Center will feature executives from leading global technology leaders including NVIDIA, Intel, and Qualcomm to outline forward-looking trends and visions for Edge AI and robotics. Industry ecosystem partners will also share application achievements and strategic insights across smart manufacturing, automation, smart healthcare, and smart retail; Second, the COMPUTEX Exhibition from June 2 to 5 at Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 will showcase a complete Edge AI solution ecosystem—from hardware platforms and software services to industrial implementations—across four major zones; Third, the WPC on June 3 at the Advantech Linkou Campus will gather over 600 partners from 39 countries and regions, focusing on collaboration and business model expansion.

Furthermore, Miller Chang, President of Advantech Embedded Sector, will attend the COMPUTEX Forum on June 4 under the session “Applied AI for Industry Transformation” and deliver a keynote speech titled “From Digital to Physical: Edge AI Computing & WEDA,” sharing how Advantech empowers cross-chip edge AI platforms via the WEDA framework, accelerates innovations such as Digital Twins and AI Agents, and drives Physical AI from proof-of-concept to industrial implementation.
