Advantech Recognized Among the Global Top 10% Sustainable Enterprises. Reaffirms Position in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook

Selected from over 7,600 global enterprises, with only 10% of applicants being chosen, Advantech has distinguished itself among the 780 companies selected worldwide, standing out as one of the 68 Taiwanese enterprises recognized.  The Sustainability Yearbook, one of the world's most authoritative ESG publications, evaluates corporate sustainability performance across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) dimensions. Leveraging its integration of industrial IoT hardware and software, Advantech has emerged as a prominent industry leader, actively advancing environmental sustainability and corporate governance. With its Top 10% ranking in the industry, Advantech solidifies its position as a leader in the field.

In terms of the social dimension, Advantech is dedicated to fostering an altruistic corporate culture. To achieve net-zero emissions and advance environmental sustainability, Advantech launched its Internal Carbon Pricing (ICP) initiative in 2024, setting a shadow carbon price of NT$1,700–3,000 per ton of CO₂e. By 2025, the company plans to integrate low-carbon production and investment decision-making to strengthen carbon risk management, aligning with evolving regulations and international carbon trading mechanisms. Advantech has also adopted the 1.5°C-aligned Science Based Targets (SBTs) as its strategic carbon reduction framework for the next decade.
