Advantech and Camera Ecosystem Partners Complete Validation on NVIDIA JetPack 7.2 for Advanced Vision AI Deployment

TAIPEI, Taiwan – Aug.18, 2026 - Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in industrial IoT, has announced the successful completion of validation with its camera ecosystem partners on NVIDIA JetPack 7.2 across its MIC-AI and MIB series platforms. This collaboration enables customers to reduce integration complexity and accelerate time-to-deployment for AI vision applications built on NVIDIA JetPack 7.2. and provide the deployment-ready AI vision solutions for industrial applications based on the latest NVIDIA Jetson software stack.

With NVIDIA JetPack 7.2 introducing a new generation of AI and imaging software stack for Jetson platforms.. These updates significantly impact how camera systems interface with AI inference pipelines and real-time vision applications at the edge, making system-level validation essential to ensure stable and reliable deployment in real-world environments.

Validated AI Vision Pipeline with Multi-Camera Optimization

The joint validation covers end-to-end AI vision workflows, including camera driver compatibility, imaging pipeline stability, and multi-camera synchronization across industrial use cases, which directly impact how camera systems interface with AI inference pipelines and real-time vision applications at the edge.

Powered by NVIDIA JetPack 7.2, the validated platform leverages optimized memory utilization and data transfer efficiency to enable higher-resolution imaging and scalable multi-camera processing. In validated configurations with Advantech camera ecosystem partners, the platform supports up to eight concurrent 4K video streams, enabling scalable AI vision deployment for industrial automation, robotics, and intelligent inspection.

NVIDIA JetPack 7.2 enables support for Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) capabilities for Jetson Thor, allowing GPU resources to be partitioned into isolated instances for concurrent AI workloads. This enables critical vision tasks such as obstacle avoidance to operate independently from secondary workloads like mapping, improving workload predictability and helping reduce performance interference in safety-critical edge AI applications.

Advantech’s MIC-AI and MIB series platforms, including MIC-743, MIC-742, MIB-741, and MIB-742, provide a validated and stable hardware foundation for JetPack 7.2-based AI vision systems, enabling consistent integration across diverse camera modules and industrial deployment scenarios.
