Advantech Launches ACE Application Computing on Edge and WISE-STACK Private Cloud Platform

Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in industrial IoT, is hosting an investor conference today, presided over by Chairman KC Liu alongside three co-presidents – Mr. Eric Chen, Ms. Linda Tsai, and Mr. Miller Chang. Although the first half of the year was impacted by systemic challenges such as reciprocal tariffs, geopolitical uncertainties, and currency fluctuations, the rapid advancement of Edge AI has led to a solid recovery in market demand and corporate spending. Advantech recorded strong double-digit growth in both revenue and profitability in the first half of 2025. The Company’s 1H25 revenue was NT$35.187 billion with 23% YoY growth; the gross profit was NT$14.161 billion (gross margin of 40.2%), the operating profit was NT$6.047 billion (operating margin of 17.2%), and the consolidated net income after tax totaled NT$4.723 billion (increased by 15% YoY), while the EPS resulted NT$5.47 in 1H25.
Eric Chen, President of General Management and CFO stated, “The overall market demand and momentum continued to show steady and positive growth. The Orders-to-Shipments ratio (BB ratio) of 2Q25 was 1.08, remaining flat compared to the previous quarter. In terms of regional breakdown, 2Q25 BB ratios of North America, Europe, and China were 1.19, 1.03, and 1.08, respectively. While other regions, such as Japan and South Korea also showed signs of recovery with BB ratios rebounding to above 1.0. Looking forward to 3Q25, Advantech remains cautiously optimistic about the market outlook. Therefore, the 3Q25 revenue are projected to be within the range of $555 million USD to $575 million USD, with the gross margin expected to be around 39.0% to 41.0%, and the operating profit margin will be in the range of 15.5% to 17.5%, resulting in an overall increase in operations on a quarterly basis.”
