Remote I/O for IoT Digitalization

Advantech’s ADAM remote I/O modules have been used by the industry for over 30 years. The ADAM-4000/4100 series features robust RS-485 Modbus I/O with USB for easy configuration and diagnosis. Analogously, the ADAM-6000/6200 series is an Ethernet I/O used for IoT applications with SNMP, MQTT, RESTful API, Web Service, and Azure/AWS interfaces. Likewise, the ADAM-6300 series is an innovative OPC UA I/O with security/encryption features. ADAM-5000 series is modular I/O system which offers both RS-485/Ethernet I/O and KW/CoDeSys SoftLogic controller options.

    • IoT Ethernet I/O Modules: WISE-4000/LAN

      The WISE-4000/LAN series is a newly designed IoT Ethernet I/O module which supports new RESTful web API for IoT applications. A HTML5 web configure interface enables users to configure WISE modules without the limitation of a platform or operation system. The built-in data logger function logs data with time information, then be retrieved in a bundle. Wide operating temperatures enable the WISE series to be implemented in more IoT data acquisition applications.
  • RS-485 I/O Modules: ADAM-4000/4100

    Cost-effective remote RS-485 data acquisition modules offer analog, RTD, thermocouple, digital, relay and counter I/O with Modbus RTU protocol.

      Remote RS-485 I/O modules using Modbus RTU protocol offer complete analog I/O for current, voltage, thermocouple or RTD.

      Remote RS-485 data acquisition modules offer digital, counter or relay I/O with Modbus RTU for industrial facility monitoring and management.
  • Modular I/O System: ADAM-5000 Series

    ADAM-5000 PC-based controllers, including the ADAM I/O series system, and ADAM-5560CE/KW Micro PAC, feature an Intel Atom D510 CPU along with control specific features such as watchdog timer, battery backup RAM and deterministic I/O. ADAM-5560KW PC-based controllers support 5 standard IEC 61131-3 programming languages in CE 5.0. With the optional HMI Software and built-in VGA port, this remote I/O module can avoid using additional SCADA PC’s in their applications.

    • I/O Rack

      ADAM-5000/485 and ADAM-5000E are Modular I/O System, as well as 4-slot / 8-slot Distributed DA&C centralized i/o systems which conform to the EIA RS-485 communication standard. RS-485 was specifically developed for industrial applications to transmit and receive data at high rates over long distances. The ADAM-5000L/TCP and ADAM-5000/TPC are both Ethernet-based I/O systems. Without a repeater, they can cover a communication distance up to 100M.
