Lin Ching-Po is the Vice President of IoT Automation and responsible for the Industrial Automation and Industrial Communication & Wireless business groups, focusing on the core market of Industrial IoT (IIoT). The Industrial Automation business group offers comprehensive data acquisition and control solutions, covering products such as fieldbus modules, high-speed data acquisition modules, industrial gateways, and PC-based controllers. Meanwhile, the Industrial Communication & Wireless business group specializes in a full range of products including industrial ethernet switches, wireless communication modules, and sensing modules. The business group is actively focusing on intelligent solutions and enhancing on software and hardware integration to embrace the next wave of edge intelligence.
Ching-Po graduated from Institute of Electrical and Control Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. After receiving the master’s degree, he joined Advantech in 2002 and has held multiple leadership roles in hardware and software R&D and various product divisions. From 2009 to 2017, he was stationed in Beijing, where he was responsible for establishing the R&D center and energy product division to facilitate local organization growth.
Ching-Po stated that IoT Automation is one of our focused growth areas. As the integration of automation and IoT technologies deepens, edge intelligence computing services will rise rapidly. Advantech will leverage its core technology resources, including computing platforms, industrial data acquisition, communication technologies, and industry solutions to assist partners in transitioning from traditional automation industries to the IoT automation market. In the future, Ching-Po will lead the business group in transforming from an automation component supplier to a solution module provider, accelerating industry evolution and supporting partners in achieving IoT automation success.
