Advantech's Modular DAQ System

Based on our high-speed data acquisition technology, Advantech launches a brand new modular data acquisition system—the iDAQ series with the chassis and I/O modules. The iDAQ series comes with two types of chassis: the iDAQ-964 chassis with our AMAX series edge controllers and the iDAQ-934 chassis with USB connectivity. We also have a wide variety of iDAQ-700/800 series I/O modules which allow customers to configure data acquisition systems for different application requirements.With its modular and ruggedized design, the DAQ series is ideal for any test applications which require extensive and mixed measurement types as well as for operation in demanding environments.

Feature Highlights

Hassel-free Expandability with a Variety of Modular I/O

  • iDAQ chassis and a wide variety of iDAQ modules let you customize your measurement and control system for different application requirements.
  • Hot-swappable iDAQ I/O modules can be flexibly inserted into iDAQ chassis to quickly build a custom system.
  • iDAQ-934 has a built-in USB hub which supports up to five chassis for flexible expansion.

Clock Synchronization for Precise Measurement

  • Synchronized clock for all modules.
  • Automatic synchronization for modules inside chassis via internal BUS without complicated wiring.
  • Multiple iDAQ-934 chassis can also be synchronized via Programmable Function Pins (PFP) allowing for easy future expansion.

Rugged Design for any Outdoor Environments

  • Wide temperature design: -20~60°C.
  • Aluminum alloy shell for better noise and EMI protection.
  • DB15 connector provides better vibration resistance, and it is tested under 5Grms random vibration and 30G shock tests.

Ease-of-Use Software

  • Supports wide range of programming languages: C/C++, C#, Java, Python, LabVIEW.
  • Object-oriented style API for easy programming.
  • Navigator utility for device testing and development.
  • DAQNavi/MCM (optional) for datalogger/machine condition monitoring application.
