Safety & Security AI Solution Enables Deployment in Just 3 Weeks

By leveraging Generative AI and VLM technology, Advantech has developed a quick-to-deploy solution for functional safety in factories, reducing deployment time from six months to just three
weeks. Built on the Advantech MIC-733-AO Jetson AGX Orin™ system and integrated with NVIDIA Agent Studio and NanoOWL, developers only need to perform prompt engineering and make simple adjustments to identify required items on-site, such as masks and helmets.
This approach eliminates the lengthy AI development process, including YOLO model building, data collection, data labeling, training, and retraining. The solution has been widely deployed in Advantech’s own factory.

Advantech Enables Service AMR with ADATA and NVIDIA ReMEmbR

Advantech and ADATA are collaborating on the next-generation AMR, powered by the highly integrated NVIDIA Nova Orin and NVIDIA Isaac™ Perceptor, enabling rapid integration of cameras and sensors while providing
comprehensive perception, localization, and navigation functions. This innovation reduces AMR deployment time by 70%.
Furthermore, the Advantech-ADATA AMR integrates NVIDIA ReMEmbR, a project that combines LLMs, VLMs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), allowing robots to reason and take actions based on their observations over extended deployments, ranging from hours to days. At GTC 2025, Advantech will showcase the results of its Service AMR with NVIDIA ReMEmbR, which has been deployed on the Advantech campus as a visitor guide.

Edge AI Vision Inspection Solution with AI Camera Powered by Edge Impulse
Advantech collaborates with ecosystem partner Edge Impulse to develop a fast-to-deploy AI vision inspection solution for Incoming Material Inspection. Utilizing the Advantech ICAM-540, an all-in-one AI camera embedded with NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX, Edge Impulse demonstrates AI-powered inspection capable of identifying DDR2 or DDR3 memory using only 200 images. This AI inspection solution can be widely adopted in smart manufacturing, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in quality control.
MGX Edge Server for NVIDIA Omniverse™ and Edge LLM
Advantech will launch its latest industrial edge server based on NVIDIA MGX™, a modular reference design that flexibly accommodates a wide range of AI, high-performance computing (HPC), LLM, and Omniverse applications requiring multiple GPU cards for intensive AI and HPC workloads. The Advantech 2U MGX server features 8 x E1.s storage bays and supports up to four 6000W CRPS AC power supplies (3+1 design) to meet the demands of AI-driven computing environments.
NVIDIA GTC 2025 takes place from March 18th to 21st at the San Jose Convention Center, United States. Advantech will be showcasing its latest innovations at booth #236 (Industrial and Physical AI Pavilion) and booth #1432 (Healthcare and Life Sciences Pavilion).
