Since joining Advantech in 2000, Elvin has demonstrated strong leadership and a long-standing commitment to the company. As General Manager of Advantech Malaysia, he has played an instrumental role in strengthening the organization’s business foundation, operational capabilities and market presence. In 2004, he was also a key contributor to the establishment of Advantech Thailand, further advancing the company’s expansion across Southeast Asia.
Over the past decade, Elvin has served as ASEAN IoT Automation Sector Head, leading regional business development and driving sustainable growth across the sector. Under his leadership, the business achieved a 16% compound annual growth rate from 2024 to 2026, reflecting his strong market insight, customer focus and ability to translate regional opportunities into tangible business results.
In 2024, Elvin further expanded his regional responsibilities by assuming the additional role of General Manager of Advantech Indonesia and establishing the ASEAN Shared Service Centre in Malaysia. Through the integration of regional RMA services and the Domain Solution Team, he has strengthened operational collaboration, enhanced regional solution capabilities and accelerated the development of local domain ecosystems across Southeast Asia.
With more than 31 years of experience in the industrial automation industry, Elvin brings extensive business knowledge, technical understanding and regional leadership experience. His commitment to teamwork, collaboration and organizational development continues to play an important role in Advantech’s long-term growth and transformation across South Asia Pacific.
