Solution:

  • I cant load drivers for my PCMCIA card. My laptop device manager shows PCI to cardbus bridge.

    (Discontinued Products) The listing for PCI to cardbus bridge is for the cardbus slot itself. If this listing is shown in the device manager with a yellow exclamation point that means you will need to resolve the issue with the PCMCIA slot itself before any PCMCIA card will be detected and installed on the laptop. Many times the PCMCIA slot drivers can be found at the laptops manufacturer's download page.
