  • How to install network driver for Windows95 & 98?

    The POS-460 rev.A1 is on-board network chip is UMC-9007 and compatible with
    Novell NE2000.

    Installation for Windows 95 or Windows 98 procedure:
    1.At the true DOS mode(MS-DOS6.22 or Windows95/98 command prompt only), execute
    DIAG7C.EXE and confirm Ethernet configuration before run Windows 95 or Windows
    98 (Ethernet defaults are IRQ=5 , I/O Address=300h).
    2.Run Windows 95 or Windows 98.
    3.Select "Start" => "Settings"=> "Control Panel" => "Network" => press "Add"
    Button

    4.Choose "Adapter" label => press the "Add" button.

    5.Choose "Novell/Anthem" "NE2000 Compatible" press "OK" button.
    6.Check NE2000 properties IRQ and I/O Address.
    7.Then restart your system.
