There are three ways to help you to configure I/O modules on ADAM-5000/CAN:
1. Host PC <== ISA => PCL-841 <==> ADAM-5000/CAN
You can use DNU.EXE under pure DOS environment to set I/O configuration.
2. Host PC <== RS232 ==> ADAM-4525 <==> ADAM-5000/CAN
You should use ADAM-4525 utility (or your own program) and refer to the manual of ADAM-5000/CAN to send commands directly.
3. Host PC <== RS232 ==> ADAM-5000/485 (ADAM-5000/485 => ADAM-5000/CAN)
Please use ADAM.EXE to set proper configurations for I/O modules, then remove them from ADAM-5000/485 and plug in ADAM-5000/CAN to complete it. (Every I/O module has an EEPROM to store the parameters)
