  • How to install Audio driver under Win95/98

    Win95 User:
    Step1: Follow [Start] => [Settings] => [Control Panel] => [System] => [Device
    Manager]
    Step2: Select "Other devices" and remove items related to ESS 1869
    Step3: Lanuch "Add new hardware" and choose "No" to refuse auto searching
    hardwares
    Step4: Select "Sound, video and game controller"
    Step5: Press "Have Disk..."
    Step6: Type correct path, ex: D:\Audio\Win95
    Step7: Highlight "ES1869 Control Interface"
    Step8: Click "Finish" then insert Win95 CD and type correct path
    Step9: Reboot system

    Win98 User:
    Win98 supports ESS1869 driver, you don't need to do anything because the audio
    driver will be installed during Win98 installation.
